Every free venue API returns only now. This history cannot be bought or backfilled: it exists only because the recording started. Each day not recorded is gone permanently.

Every number comes from a trade that happened. We read the public trade feeds of venues that publish one, and we do not estimate or fill in gaps.

We read the fills of only some of the venues we index. The rest are marked unknown rather than empty. We have not read them, which is not the same as nothing happening, and in most cases not the same as the venue withholding them.

Centralised exchanges are included for their quotes, which is why their terms are tracked per adapter. We do not read their fills yet, so every fill on this site is on chain.
